DAY 2: BAKHIM-TSOCHA, 2KM, 1hr15min

I woke up early on day2 (4:30AM),got nothing to do I spend time watching the stars, moon and the sunrise behind the clouds. The stars seemed to glitter so brightly in the sky, it looks like plenty of LED lights spread on a black sheet. I still miss the view in city. We started our journey to Tsocha at 7:00AM after having a glass of sattu( most reliable breakfast during a trek). The climb is steep uphill
. We reached Tsocha at 8:15AM. We have decided to stay at Tsocha for acclimatisation and taking a day of rest after the 16k walk and before the 12km tough trail to Dzongri.
One can also stay at Pethang instead of Tsocha,as it offers beautiful views of both the mountain range, but you need to have you your cooking arrangements, tents and theres scarcity of water. At Tsocha we pitched the tent in the camping area. We had our lunch and dinner at chowkidar’s hut(Rs120 each). We went to bed by 8PM.
